Lutería de Tucumán
– taken at the MUNT, in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina
Luthiers are abundant in the Museo de la Universidad Nacional de Tucumán, or at least they seem abundant, since I’ve only ever known one luthier, and there were much more than just one at this gathering. These beautifully crafted instruments were displayed all around the museum, fruits of labor from many students being shown-off during this end of the year presentation. Violins, violas, cellos, guitars, lutes, flutes, and more, all toiled over for hours and hours. Not only are these handmade instruments delightful to look at, but they sound lovely as well.
Enjoy the music.
